The New IanGuerin.com

Ladies and Gentlemen, it's here.

The new IanGuerin.com. What you'll find in this site now is a lot of work put in by a number of people.

There's Stephen Pottebaum (pottebaum.com), the man who I not only consider one of my closest friends, but also the dude who made sure the early years of this site were as fun and productive as they were.

Now, there's Chris Mowder (chrismowder.com), another former newspaper employee who has gone on to become a budding Myrtle Beach area business man. Among other things, including ListenUpMB.com, Mowder works on Web design. He's the person responsible for much of the new look.

Now, with it, I hope you find a number of improvements to make this site more user-friendly.

No longer will I require you to be a member of the site to view all the great photos from our karaoke shows and weddings. And while I will still contribute to the blog on a regular basis, it's no longer the focal point of the site. (Yes, I'll still rant about the BCS, praise the best sports writing I see and occassional wax poetic about Mizzou football and basketball.)

Here's what I hope to accomplish with this thing: I want people who are looking for a DJ or some writing/reporting help on The Grand Strand to know that I'm here and what I can provide. I want people to be able to contact me efficiently. And I want those who view this site to get all the info about the karaoke shows I run immediately.

So I hope you enjoy, and let me know if you have any suggestions or photo submissions along the way.

Best,

IG
